Lisa's Bio
I attended a drama school as a child, hoping to be a dancer, but I wasn’t tall enough to be accepted into any dance troops, except for ballet which I hated! I appeared in lots of television programmes as a kid, such as Upstairs Downstairs, Emus World and was the voice of Lucy in the animated version of The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe. I did make one dance troop and tap danced at the London Palladium! I am the little girl that Roy Wood picked up and the end of I wish it could be Christmas everyday video. I married Nigel and encouraged him to get back into a band, thinking I would do a bit of backing vocals, never lead! But I love every minute! My influences are strong female singers like Tina Turner, Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Cher, Cristina Aguilera and Kyle Minogue.
